DooDad are truely fine Electric Guitars (We do basses too!) manafactured in the far east to Harald Winds specifications and superb standards.

 

 There was a whisper about some of the DooDad guitars coming eerily close to Fender and Gibson guitars. There are those who are even seriously worried that DooDad guitars are mistaken for Fenders or Gibsons. But, hey…. that may be a big compliment, but we do our utmost to be Doodad and no one else!  So we immediately changed the headstock and names so that everyone can see immediately: that incredible price / performance ratio is the perfect weapon to break though the sound barrier!! This also means that we have immediately stopped producing and selling Doodad's with Fender- or Gibson style headstocks. We leave that to the other thousands of manafacturers/luthiers in the world.

 

The headstocks now hark back to Paul Bigsby's original design that he wanted to see in production, but due to manafacturing limitations in the 50's these were impossible to produce economically, however now with machinces capable of producing almost any shape we can now bring you the master guitar designers original concept.  We are sure if he was alive today he would be inspired to come up with designs that would still be radical.
